What is your full name?
Jakob Levison

Where are you from?
Born in Toronto, raised in Trumbull, CT

Best book you've read recently and why?
I'm currently reading The Sovereign Individual by James Dale Davidson & Lord William Rees-Mogg. The authors explore what they call "the fourth stage of human society" -- the transition from an industrial to an information-based society. They make a ton of incredibly accurate predictions, from the rise of nationalism to the creation of cryptocurrencies. It’s really thought provoking and I haven't been able to put it down.

What TV show are you currently watching?
I've been watching Succession recently, it’s a show about a media conglomerate and the dysfunctional family that controls it. Season 2 just aired last night, and it’s clear that the writers are really starting to ratchet up the intensity.

Who inspires you and why?
Definitely my dad. He's the hardest working person I know and he has always taught me how to compete and to never make excuses. I wouldn't be where I am today without him.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
After graduating, a few friends and I backpacked across Europe. The craziest thing we did was going to a Bath Party in Budapest. It's basically a rave in a giant heated pool.

If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?
Somewhere in Southeast Asia -- Probably Japan or Thailand. Japanese food is my favorite and I'm interested in seeing what life is like in such a drastically different culture.

What was it about BWG that attracted you most?
First off, the team here is awesome and it was really important for me to find a good cultural fit. But even before I met the team, I think I was initially attracted to the unique combination of crypto, sales, and finance. It's the perfect blend for what I'm looking for, and everything I've seen up to this point tells me that this is just the beginning for BWG.

What are you looking forward to for the rest of 2019?
I'm excited to learn more about the industry and really just start grinding. I'm also super pumped for CoinAlts Fund Symposium in September! Looking at the speakers, the venue, and the companies attending... it's going to be an unbelievable event.
